Adoption Disruption Prevention

Services is a resources for your family in the event that all other interventions have failed. They can assess your child and offer services to you that may be able to prevent an adoption disruption. A Five-Day Seminar is available at their Akron Offices for all families nationally. During this time, the child will be assessed and your family will learn new ways to handle their emotional needs as well as your own. Five day sessions will be offered for those families that want one-on-one work to help the family identify the needs, their strengths and help them heal any wounds that may have developed so that a fresh start can be undertaken. This seminar has been successful in preserving families.

Seminar Fees

Turning Corners provides services after your family has applied and been accepted for the seminar. The seminar runs five days, Monday-Friday for three hours per day. During this time, there will be child, couple and family sessions. After acceptance, a thorough assessment will be completed to determine the child’s needs and current family dynamics. This information will be used during the Family Seminar.

Application Fee: $100 (non-refundable)

Assessment Fee: $250 (non-refundable)

Family Rework Seminar: $2000 (due one week prior to scheduled seminar)
