Adoption Disruption Prevention Counseling:
If you family hopes to try to preserve your adoptive family, a five day adoption prevention seminar is available at their offices in Akron Ohio. This service is available to any family regardless of geographic location. During this time, the child will be assessed and your family will learn new, concrete ways to handle your child’s emotional needs as well as your own. Five-day sessions will be offered for those families that want one-on-one work to help identify the needs and strengths of the family as well as help them heal any wounds that may have developed so that a fresh start can be undertaken. This seminar has been successful in preserving families.

Child Diagnostic Assessments:
Turning Corners can write a Child Diagnostic Assessment to thoroughly assess your child’s special needs. The Child Diagnostic Assessment can be used to help yourself and others who work with them understand your child‘s strengths and areas that need assistance.

Outpatient Treatment
Turning Corners LLC, offers Outpatient Counseling to children, adolescents, and adults. The focus is the treatment of mental illness or emotional disturbance. Additionally, the qualified staff can help you and your family with any type of transition. Treatment services are provided on a face to face basis in the office, in home or other community locations. A licensed professional shall be available 24 hours a day to handle any crisis calls. Normal business hours are Monday through Friday 9:00 AM to 7:00 PM and Saturday 9:00 AM to 1:00 PM.

Online Counseling: $30 per thirty minutes
Online counseling is available to families at any stage of their adoption journey. Online counseling is a non-threatening way to address your individual concerns about your family or child. A counselor with specific training in your area of concern can help you navigate through your feelings.

Case Management / CPST
Turning Corners LLC, offers Case Management / Community Supportive Psychiatric Treatment (CPST). Case Management services are a highly mobile intervention option that address’s the individual’s mental health needs, including goal-oriented and individualized supports, self sufficiency through planning, monitoring linkage and coordinating activities. Services are tailored to the needs of the clients and are measurable and specific. A licensed professional is available 24 hours a day to handle any crisis calls. Normal business hours are Monday through Friday 9:00 AM to 7:00 PM and Saturday 9:00 AM to 1:00 PM.
