Turning Corners Counseling and Support Services

Sometimes families need extra help. Super Nanny 911 is designed to help families that have children with challenging behaviors learn new ways to handle the child and to get tied into the best possible services for on-going care.

1. Turning Corners Counseling and Support Services will evaluate and develop a treatment plan for your child in his or her own environment. A specialized counselor will visit your home as well as contact your child's teachers, coaches, doctors and others involved in the daily care and interactions with the child. By stepping into the child’s world, the counselor can have a better picture of how your child interacts with that environment.

2. The "Super Nanny 911” program is a 9-week program, during which approximately three weeks will be spent on evaluation, five weeks on counseling and reaching certain treatment goals as identified in the child’s individual service plan and the last week will be used to review progress as well as provide further resources and referrals.

3. As part of the service, the counselor will identify for your family and children with the best professionals in your local area, including: pediatricians, psychologist, and psychiatrists, educational centers, tutors, attorneys, and others professionals.

Areas of need may include but not be limited to:

Parent and Child Relationship Issues
Child and Sibling Relationship Issues
Depression and Anxiety Issues
Attachment and Bonding Concerns
Behavioral Concerns

Other problems maybe identified as part of treatment planning.

This program is covered by Medicaid, Medical Mutual, Aetna, as well as Medical spending accounts. Self-pay is also available.
